Week One: Manly Man Times

Okay so, being stuck in one place in a house with a bunch of strangers isn't exactly Randall's idea of a good time.
Sure, he likes meeting new people. But being stuck in the same place with them, having to form actual bonds and relationships? To say he doesn't have much experience there is vastly understating things.
At least there's plenty to keep him busy. Doing a good solid patrol of their grounds was his first priority - putting up markers for humans and wolves alike. Then there was game to catch, and a firepit to build out back for cooking. He was half-way through starting construction on a smoker when he remembered the old beat-up generator they'd seen in the garage.
Right. Electricity. With the weather getting colder every day, that was going to become a necessity. And one of his new pack-mates had been going on about the lack of wifi for a while.
Well. It's not like Randall knows anything about that. But at the very least he can have a crack at the engine.
He spends the better part of the morning, stripped down to his t-shirt with oil smeared up to his elbows, trying to make head or tails of this thing.
It isn't making it easy on him.

...that still feels like such a weird thing to specify. It's been months but he's just not used to the fact that he's not actually human, and that he has the option to look and be very not human. But running through the forest as a wolf, he found, was oddly enjoyable. It sparked something in him, something hard for him to pin down, which is why he's so wary to suggest it now.

Now excuse him as he takes off into the woods, Changing as he does. It always feels amazing, landing on four paws instead of the two clumsy feet he has to deal with most days. He can smell the forest around him, crisp and strong and so much better with his heightened senses. Fuck, why do they ever have to stop doing this?
Well. Sometimes having opposable thumbs is an advantage.

In wolf form, Ryan may not be the biggest or most imposing figure, but he's small and agile and fast. He has to admit, the feeling is a rush. There were certainly plenty of downsides to being a werewolf-- this was not one of them. He loves dodging around trees, yipping as he catches up to Randall, slowing down to keep pace.
